| Abstract: | This study analyses the role of consultancies in organizational change in the Dutch banking sector in the 1960s and 1970s with the help of case studies at different banks. This paper focuses on the consultants' role in the convergence of the organisational structure of different types of banks. Findings show that there was a variety in the ways banks used consultants. |
