| Abstract: | The paper discusses the management consulting industry and the ethical aspects of the industry as a reputation-based industry. This article also argues that consulting is a form of situation-specific assistance provided by an independent expert that enables the person seeking advice to act in an 'overcomplex' situation. Moreover, the paper indicates how 'integrative management consulting ethics' would affect daily consulting activities. |
