Abstract:Moving into barrier is a major expression of imperfections in markets. It is shown that there exists essential difference between entry from the same country and from multinational direct investment in terms of absolute cost advantage. The scale of final entry into the entity determines the allocation pattern of absolute cost advantage between earlier manufacturers and potential manufacturers. In addition, regardless what market response the existent manufactures have to the entry, scale-economic barrier will engender effects, but the result of the effects will possibly be ineffective. Meanwhile, there still exist product variances and barrier of capital need.
