| Abstract: | This article investigates multinational corporations' (MNCs) motives and modes of setting up subsidiaries. The research findings which lead to the formulation of pertinent hypotheses are based on a survey of seven subsidiaries of MNCs which entered the Polish market in the early 1990s. Within-case and cross-case approach are used in analyzing the data. |
