| Abstract: | This research paper provides an in-depth discussion on the current state of government communication in The Netherlands. The analyzed data was collected from an online survey with the top managers and communication managers of various public sectors such as ministries, provinces, municipalities and water boards. The paper offers generalized useful suggestions how the quality of communication can be further improved and reveals what the various public sectors see as the added value of government communication. |
