| Abstract: | This paper explores development of tourism in exclaves, which provide unique forms of borderland destinations in the world. The paper presents a taxonomy of physical, social and cultural elements that have potential for tourism development. Belgian Baarle-Hertog and Dutch Baarle-Nassau are used as empirical examples. |
