| Abstract: | The Arts Council England (ACE) has radically improved its national system for supporting the arts. ACE's experience illustrates how the challenges of managing a big change programme to modernise a government organisation can be addressed. The scale of an enterprise-wide change programme can act as a stimulus to make full use of the organisation's "repertoire" of change leadership capabilities and to add to them. |
