Abstract: | Computer Integrated manufacturing (CIM) is a complex system of new technologies in production. In the CIM -concept different components of an integrated production process are united. One main goal of this data processing based network is the continuous flow of information and material.The introduction of a CIM is not merely a technical problem. It also has many organisational, personnel and financial implications. The article presents interdependencies between CIM, organisational structure and processes. |
