| Abstract: | 600 German enterprises have been questioned in a survey as to the weak points and lack of knowledge of their managers. The results show the fields and issues in which managers must improve their knowledge. It was found for example, that 69,3 p.c. of the managers surveyed need training in controlling. It is concluded that the permanent, continuous training of managers has become indispensible, and that the structure of requirements a manager must meet is changing too. A calendar of manager courses in Germany and Austria is presented too. |
