Abstract: | In the competitive markets of our days companies have not got enough time for the traditional product development; product design, construction and preparation of the production must be made simultanously. Integrated product development can be realized only if the flow of information through the different units and departments of the corporations is provided and the production technology is flexible enough. This requires new forms of corporate organizations. Those important organizational characteristics are analyzed in the article, which make a corporation capable to introduce CIM successfully. |
