Abstract:The purpose of this article is to explore the financial life cycle of a small business to expose the areas of financial management where problems are likely to arise and where proper planning and management can avoid such failure. Financial problems can and do arise in the start up, survival, growth, prosperity, business cycle adjustment, and the maturity stages of small businesses. This article out lines strategic steps which can be taken to avoid such problems.
