| Abstract: | A number of state-owned large and medium-sized wholesale enterprises have suffered losses or are facing such problem in recent years. The main reasons are that the economic structural reform has changed the monopoly position of state-owned wholesale enterprises, that competition has been introduced in the wholesale market, that the supply object and ways of exchange have also changed, that the inside management mechanism of these enterprises cannot adapt themselves to these changes and that the readjustment of the state macro policies has aggravated the predicament of the enterprises. So, fundamental changes must be made to the function, management thinking, strategies and ways and inside mechanism of the enterprise and the government should create a favorable policy ... |
