| Abstract: | More than two years ago, Latvia began privatizing state-owned agricultural, production, and service enterprises. Recently it also began the process of privatizing land. The Ministry of Economics is working on a privatization program and the establishment of a Privatization Agency which will be under the supervision of the ministry. The author discusses the pace of privatizing and why the privatization process is being slowed down. |
