| Abstract: | For remote places Telecom Australia developed the Digital Radio Concentrator System (DRCS). Two other organizations, the School of the Air and the Royal Flying Doctor Service operate with the same purpose. In big towns great emphasis is laid on development of cellular mobile communication system which at present has about 100 000 customers. |
