Abstract:What about all the newspapers and bottles we put out at the curb? The author shows how companies can take competitive advantage of the current uncertainty in recycling markets. Rather than fighting environmentalists and government policymakers every step of the way, companies like Coca-Cola, International Paper, Moore Business Forms, and Rubbermaid are using recyclables and investing in environmentally sound R&D to build customer loyalty and new product markets.
