| Abstract: | The World Tourism Organization (WTO) held its Tenth General Assembly in October 1993 at the Nusa Dua Conference Centre on the island of Bali in the Republic of Indonesia. The Assembly, which occurs every other year, attracted over 100 member countries and, in total, approximately 600 delegates from all classes of membership. The Assembly is the premier gathering of public tourism policy makers in the world and, given the attendance, was rightly called a "tourism summit". |
