| Abstract: | Measuring relative advantages depends on setting up the indices of cost advantage. However, so as to industrial and trade activities, we have no ways to determine the various factors resulting in relative advantage, such as relative price, cost, production factors and resources, etc. So we hardly measure the cost advantages of countries in a certain industry. Generally, we can determine whether relative advantages exist through production, export, import and consumer of a product. We can also measure the degree of relative advantage by appropriate indices. |
