| Abstract: | Northern Telecom is a giant in the Field of telecommunications. Based predominantly in Canada and the US it has markets throughout the world. As with most multinationals, culture change initiatives tend to be created at the HQ and then disseminated to "the world". It was one such company-wide initiative, a total quality programme, launched from Canada in early 1992 which raised challenging issues for one UK-based division. |
