| Abstract: | Irregular rhymes are a typical feature of the rhetoric style of Russian prose of the 17th century. Avraami Palitsyn the author of historical legends /skazania/ uses systems of grammatically identical verb and noun chains to enhance semantical meaning. The differences in the structure of the chains in the first and second parts of skazania are caused by their differing contexts and by the reduced rhetoric charge of the second part. |
