| Abstract: | The article draws attention to the unseparability of the "content" structure and of the structure of composition and form which enables the latter to play a role in generating the deep layers of content. In the analysed works of Borges the surface themes of the plot serve as building material for the deeper layers of content which are usually of metaphysical nature. |
