| Abstract: | Reentry into GATT will have great negative impact on China's industry, especially the processing industry. The greatest impact will be on machine-building, electronic, textile and chemical industry. There also will be negative impact on the price controlling system, government management and enterprise's operation and management. If industry products still keep high price after reentry into GATT, they will be defeated by exported ones. If the primary products still keep low price, they will be in short supply in domestic resource market. |
