| Abstract: | With the increasing realization of global markets, firms will need aggressive patent strategies to protect their emerging technologies bith domestically and abroad. It is because most industrialized countries have "first-to-file" systems that American firms will have to move decisively. If not, these firms could find themselves restrictied to selling products only in the United States or running the risk of violating patents for which they could have filed, but failed to do so. |
