| Abstract: | More often than not, quality programs ultimately fail because organizations simply do not understand what quality really means or how to attain it. There are, however, companies that have had success implementing TQM programs. These organizations share some common denominators: a view of quality as a long process instead of as a program, the leadership of the CEO and the use of action plans, goal setting and assessment. |
