| Abstract: | The widely used load/distance analysis for comparing layouts assumes that the number of trips between work centers is a known constant. When the number of trips varies over time, the load/distance values for each layout will be random variables and cannot be assessed at face value. A simple method is presented to determine if two layouts are really different. |
