| Abstract: | When production workers are trained in the working of managerial support systems, the system will function more efficiently and errors in the system will be detected and corrected more quickly than when the system remains the sole property of a few highly trained professionals. Benefits to the company extend beyond better performance within specific systems to include higher quality and productivity and quicker response to customer needs. |
