| Abstract: | Information about best practices in training and development is elusive. Vast volumes of data exist on the breadth of training. But rare is a portrait of training at its most effective and innovative. Some forward thinking companies are out to change that through the ASTD's Benchmarking Forum, a cooperative venture among companies with strong commitments to employee training. By gathering in-depth information about their own training organizations, forum participants hope to identify training's best practices and generate comparative data to set a standard for their individual efforts. |
