| Abstract: | A new basis for action is needed to face up to the emergence of China. The immensity of the country and its open door policy following fifteen years of successful reforms are a major challenge to global companies. This article proposes a synthesis of the "Greater China" concept to enable a better understanding of the growth of the Chinese economy. It also puts forward a framework for action through an analysis of four challenges to be met by global companies. |
