| Abstract: | Western companies have shaken up the job market and pay scales in central and Eastern europe. But salary and work culture gaps with the West will remain for some time to come. The influx of foreign investors and the blossoming private sector are revolutionising the job market. For indigenous employers this is causing severe headaches. Their staff frequently complain about money, and their best people are lured away. The present high-demand situation is good news for qualified senior and mid-level managers and white-collar professionals. |
