| Abstract: | In manufacturing in the 1990's, adapting to change is becoming the key differentiator between being competitive and being history. Enterprisewide client/server solutions are a radical departure from legacy business systems of the past. Manufacturers seeking solutions to the problems of change in the world must become informed about this new generation of high technology and insist that software vendors have clear visions and a committed strategy for designing and building these critical next generation systems. |
