Abstract:As the workplace continues to change, it is likely that disputes over resources and roles will increase. And it is also likely that workers will experience more interpersonal factors as they interact in the workplace. To manage conflicts, organizations will increasingly call on their human resource people to manage third party interventions: the HR person who has most know-how to identify the type of conflict and how to determine the most appropriate role for the third party intervener.
