Abstract:Under the condition that the elasticity of supply prices is strong and that of demand prices is weak at the present stage, it is difficult for provinces and regions to keep the balance of grain supply and demand. In addition, the grain market system is imperfect and the transactions are not standardized in market. The governments at provincial and regional levels must establish grain storage for producing a cushioning effect, grain-producing bases at the provinces and regions where there are favorable conditions for the production of grain, and grain futures market.
