| Abstract: | The paper holds that: First, China's textile industry is not a back ward industry for it was once a pillar industry and today is still the main force in creating foreign exchanges and has accumulated a large amount of funds for the country. It is just because the state hasn't given it as much support as America has done. Then the scale of textile industry is not too large and so it should depend on deepening reform rather than reducing spindles to stop its slip. The way out of textile industry lies in the support of policies and making structural adjustment of industry, enterprises and products, facing domestic market. |
