| Abstract: | The Japanese yen's appreciation is beneficial to the improvement of the trade deficit with Japan. But its function can not be overestimated. China's options in its strategy on trading with Japan should be as follows: enhancing the import price elasticity of demand, adjusting the structure of debts , strengthening the prevention of the risks of exchange rates and attracting with great efforts the Japanese direct investment in order to reduce China's debts to Japan and avoid the risks of exchange rates, brought by the Japanese yen's appreciation, on the basis that the total foreign investment utilized in China is not decreased. |
