| Abstract: | Every MIS department of any size is faced with the challenge of introducing new (often client/server) applications into a business environment which is still dependent on applications built with legacy mainframe or minicomputer technology. In the world of information systems, 'legacy' has come to mean anything which is already in production, anything from the past, but the past extends up to and including yesterday. |
