| Abstract: | Hong Kong's enterprises are moving from small island-based ones towards mainland-based ones. While the light processing industry as the "world-level" industry maintains the competitiveness, the enterprises in some related industries, such as machine-building, and electrical parts have developed into "world-level" enterprises. On the basis of the division of work and coordination with inland areas, Hong Kong began to produce local products with high added-value. In recent years, the investment of manufacturing industry from outside maintains an upward momentum. Hong Kong's manufacturing industry began to accept the influence of the strategy of "globalization" of enterprises. |
