| Abstract: | At present, China's special economic zones are in the crucial period in then development. So how to set new development objectives, adapt to the new trends of the development both at home and abroad, seek new development model or strategy, usher in a new development stage are the significant issues which are of importance to the overall situation of reform and opening. The major functions of China's special economic zones are to serve as "the window" of opening to the outside world and "the testing ground" for the transformation of economic mode. They have achieved great success in these lines in the past 10-odd years. |
