| Abstract: | Extensive restructuring of service industries is producing suboptimal results because of the shortage of high calibre leadership skills, according to a new study. In a major research project , primarily based on structured interviews with 49 business leaders, supplemented by interviews with 50 HR directors and a postal survey of 375 representative institutions, Amin Rajan identifies the leadership skills required for the future and suggests practical ways for developing them, while preparing for the fresh challenges of the new century. |
