| Abstract: | Today, companies feel pressure to improve their performance constantly. As the bar continually rises on performance standards, more and more companies have begun to investigate high performance work systems. This article identifies the components of high performance work systems and describes the results companies have achieved by using them. It tells how to implement a high performance work system and how to solve problems that may occur along the way. |
