Abstract: | China's rate of hidden unemployment stands at between 27-54 percent, mainly due to rural surplus labourers, thus causing tremendous waste of economic resources. Underemployment is a transitional employment state from hidden unemployment to open unemployment or marketized employment. The only solution to China's unemployment lies in efficiency-type employment. It's necessary to create an efficiency-oriented mechanism, run an enterprise scientifically, make incessant innovations in enterprises, develop proper notions of security of unemployment, and promote the employment featuring integration of labourers with foreign funds. |
