Abstract:In their attempt to graduate from products developed in isolation and thrust down the customer's throat with slick advertising, many companies turned to market research as the answer. Moving beyond customer satisfaction loyalty requires more than doing marketing research. It requires taking the pulse of customer requirements with targeted questions and better techniques.
