Abstract: | By the end of Feb., 1997, there were 561 listed companies altogether in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges with a total market volume reaching 1162.6 billion yuan. At present, 86 companies have issued B share stocks, raising a total of US$ 3 billion or so of capital in China. But there is a lack of powerful management institution of securities and perfect laws and regulations in China. To standardise China's securities market, we should establish a concentrated management system of securities market and legal system to control the undue speculation and promote the innovation of securities market and speed up the reform of shareholder enterprises in a bid to standardise the securities-issuing subject. |
