Abstract: | There are no long-term givens in ABB except that its business will be based on exploiting its technological competencies. The company is constantly remaking itself in response to global and local changes in its business environment. Despite this turmoil, ABB needs to have a method of assuring itself that it is making the right investments in technology. ABB's process for doing this -- Business Technology Evaluation -- is seen as being applicable to any global organization that seeks to create business advantage through technology. |
