| Abstract: | This paper examines important determinanta of learning in joint ventures. As such, it shifts our attention away from just being concerned about when firms should enter into strategic alliances and toward understanding how firms can be successful in the alliances they from. The model developed draws on resource-based, information-processing, and organizational learning theories to show how JV control processes affect the dynamics of interpartner learning. |
