Abstract:The article explores the role of ethics in advertising, with a focus on the organizational cultures of advertising agencies as well as the personal and professional identities of the individuals working within them. Descriptions, analyses, and conclusions presented are the result of in-depth interviews with appr. 35 professionals from two advertising agencies located in a large American city.
