Abstract:As small businesses become connected to the world through the Internet, they are likely to join their larger counterparts in being victims of computer crimes, which include the unauthorized use, access, modification, copying, and destruction of data or software and the theft of data or other intellectual properties. The small business owner who acknowledges that computer crime can happen and pays some attention to what is going on in the office is less likely to be the victim of computer crime.
