| Abstract: | The Intranet is rapidly leading to new ways of using, sharing and managing information in many organizations. This paper explores the role of Intranet from a new perspective - as a mechanism for supporting decision- making. This paper is divided into two parts. The first part of the paper uses the well-known data-dialog-model framework of decision support systems. It explores how an Intranet can be useful for rapid and flexible access to information required for decision-making. |
