| Abstract: | Even the most ardent supporter of psychometrics would not claim that they are a perfect indicator of performance in a job. But the author argues that developing the tests to take account of "successful intelligence" would make them far more effective. He urges the psychometrics industry to replace conventional ability assessments with a new generation of more rounded measures, while three test publishers respond to his challenge. |
