| Abstract: | Most employees develop a positive psychological bond with their organization. The editorial describes the developments in the conceptualization of, and empirical research into, the psychological contract, giving an overview of the current state of affairs, and addressing the question of what still remains to be done in the future regarding key directions for research into the psychological contract and its application to employment relations in the changing world of work. |
