| Abstract: | An increasing variety of inter-organizational relationships have been enabled by the developments in network technology. While inter-organizational systems (IOSs) that support electronic markets or customer / supplier relations have been discussed in literature, those supporting 'symbiotic networks' have received little attention. An examination of the systems development literature and strategic alliance literature suggested a number of issues; these were examined in an exploratory case study. |
