| Abstract: | The growth of Chinese future market has two outstanding characters: one is the unconventional development of the future market, while the other is its growth promoted by government. Major problems include: failure in controlling the developing scale of future market; lack of scientificalness and standardization; imperfectness of risk management mechanism and gravity of excessive speculation. In spite of these, we can't put all the blame on the deficiency of market itself and thus give negative comments. The internationalization of Chinese economy requires the realization of future market's function. The internationalization of the financial market requires the future market to scatter financial risks. The reform of state-owned enterprises also needs the triggering of future market's functions. We should develop the futures market. |
